Keep Mesquite Beautiful encourages Mesquite citizens to participate in the organization's goals of litter prevention, beautification, and recycling as a volunteer. There are two types of volunteers for KMB.
A Monarch is a volunteer who supports the organization by lending a helping hand in preparing and/or executing a KMB event or activity. Monarchs must be registered with Volunteer Services in order to track volunteer hours for the annual volunteer appreciation event.

A Butterfly is a general volunteer that is not registered with the City of Mesquite for volunteer hours.
