On behalf of the Mesquite Ministerial Alliance, I invite you to join us as we honor the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 2.
The 16th Annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast will be the first activity of the day. The Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast will be held from 7 - 8 a.m. at Family Cathedral, 790 Windbell Circle. The free breakfast is graciously sponsored by the Mesquite Fire Association and the Mesquite Police Association. The breakfast and service provide a unique opportunity for community leaders and residents to come together in fellowship and prayer for our city. In addition to the service, the City of Mesquite will announce the 2019 Addressing Mesquite Day date.
Later that same day, a noon gathering will be held at City Hall in Council Chambers, 757 N. Galloway Avenue. This brief service will offer another opportunity to pray for our community. Lasting only about 30 minutes, this mid-day service is ideal for working individuals to attend.
To RSVP for the breakfast, please click on the link above and provide the requested information. The deadline to register is April 30 by 5 p.m. The noon event does not require a reservation. If you have any questions, please contact Julie Whitworth at 972-216-6286 or at email@example.com.
The Mesquite Ministerial Alliance and I hope you are available to attend these events and I look forward to seeing you on May 2.
