  • Emergency Alert System - tune into WBAP 820AM radio for instructions.
  • TV Broadcasts - watch for emergency interruption and tune into new stations.
  • Highway Messaging - look for emergency information on highway message boards.
Purchase a NOAA All Hazards Weather Radio

A nationwide network of radio stations broadcasting continuous weather information from the nearest (NWS) National Weather Service.  NWS broadcasts official warning, watches, forecasts and other hazard information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Emergency officials warn DO NOT rely solely on one form of warning communication. Use more than one notification system and be aware of weather changes.
