Garbage & Recycling

The City is responsible for the curbside collection of garbage and recycling items. Garbage is collected twice a week, while recycling is picked up once a week. All material must be at the curb no earlier than 8:00 p.m. the evening prior to your collection day and no later than 7:30 a.m. on your collection day, and shall be removed from the curb line no later than 8:00 p.m. of the day on which it is collected.

Large/Bulky Items

You may schedule a pickup request online or you may call 972-216-6285 to schedule pickup of large/bulky items. Large/bulky items that do not fit into garbage cans or weigh over 50 lbs. are collected once weekly on a 5 - 15 day schedule.
