Mesquite reduces water restrictions

(Mesquite, Texas) – The city of Mesquite has dropped all water restrictions effective immediately. The move is in response to an announcement from the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) to cancel all Stage 3 water restrictions.

The NTMWD reports all area lakes are at capacity, allowing the district to end more than two years of mandatory water restrictions.

City water managers continue to ask for all residents to be water wise and use our limited water resources responsibly.
