The Town East Area Restaurant Managers’ Association and Town East Area Retail Managers’ Association was established to decrease crime in and around the Town East area. The Mesquite Police Department is tasked with developing a comprehensive crime watch. This will be accomplished by establishing the initial meeting. Assisting in conduction three (3) meetings per year, to facilitate communication between the Police Department and representatives of the area restaurants and retail stores.

The primary goal of the Restaurant Managers’ Association and Retail Managers’ Association is to develop a method for managers, or their designated representative to exchange information, ideas and possibly solutions to specific as well as projected offenses that occur within the Town East area.

The Community Service Division will assist, and coordinate with other departmental assets in presenting crime reduction techniques at the meetings.
