The City of Mesquite has given notice of its intent to annex approximately 2.2 square miles in western Kaufman County. (Please see the enclosed map.)

To ensure that residents and property owners within the proposed annexation area have as much information as possible, the City is holding a community meeting:

All persons residing or owning property within the proposed annexation area are invited to attend. Directors and other staff from the City’s departments will be on hand to take your comments and respond to questions.
