Goodbar Activities:

Woodcarving Class  

Turn a block of wood into a work of art. Woodcarving is more than just whittling. This class expands on your creativity as you carve out sculptures to your heart's delight.

General Information

Goodbar is located in North Mesquite, in the 75150 zip code area. The facility is attached to McKinsey Elementary School and is utilized for seniors, youth and reservations. The center was built in 1985 with the school and recreation center sharing the gym space.

City of Mesquite senior centers are community facilities serving adults 50 years or better. The centers function as a meeting place where participants can socialize, take part in activities and classes and receive services that enhance the quality of life. Programs are designed especially for mature adults.
