Goodbar Activities:

Goodbar has a Registered nurse that comes to the Senior Center to do blood pressure checks, anemia checks, and blood sugar checks. The nurse visits Goodbar Senior Center at 9:00 a.m. on the 2 nd Monday and visits at 10:00 a.m. on the 4 th Monday of the month.

There is a meal service at Goodbar Senior Center for seniors 55 and older. For seniors that are 55-59 years of age the cost is $2.30. For seniors that are 60 and older we ask for a $.75 contribution.

Woodcarvers meet, exchange ideas, and carve at the Goodbar Senior Center on every Tuesdays and Fridays from 8:30 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. The Senior Center has carving tools for new comers to learn, enjoy, and socialize with fellow woodcarvers.

Monthly trips that Goodbar seniors go to are, Wal-Mart, Town East Mall and Dollar Store. The seniors go on a monthly trip such as, Texas Rangers, Fruit Cake factory, Mesquite Rodeo, Lone Star Park, Winstar, Arboretum, Black Box Theater, Farmers Market and a wide variety of other destinations.

The Goodbar Senior Center staffs are friendly and willing to make you feel at home at the senior center, so come join us in the fun.
