Goodbar Recreation Center is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for senior programs and after-school programs. This facility is available for reservations on weekday evenings and weekends

Class Registration Form

Recreation After School Program (R.A.S.P.)  

R.A.S.P. is a program that has been designed to provide a fun, safe and structured environment for children after school. The program will include supervised snacks, arts/crafts, physical activities and homework time. The program will operate throughout the school year (excluding holidays and teacher planning days). Registration is limited.

Days: Monday - Friday
Time: 3pm - 6pm
Fee: $80 per month

A-1 Class:

A variety of recreational classes and special activities are offered at the center for school-aged children to adults. Minimum class fees are charged and instructors are qualified, skilled individuals. You can download the class registration form here. Sessions are ongoing…check the FunForecast for current offerings.

For convenience, MasterCard, Visa and Discover are offered as acceptable forms of payment. If a class is filled, individuals will be put on a waiting list and called if space becomes available. Refunds for classes are made when requested by the day following the first class meeting. Classes are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.

Areas are available for free play in the lobby and in the gymnasiums. Equipment may be checked out.

Basketballs are available in the gym at no charge.

Specialist Instructors

The Goodbar Recreation Center is looking for energetic and innovative Instructors to teach youth and adults classes/programs. If you have a unique talent, skill or idea please submit your application here . Instructors will be paid a percentage of the tuition, the more students who register the more money you make.

Volunteers

Join our team by becoming a volunteer. You will receive the satisfaction of given back to your community while assisting us in our efforts to serve the citizens of Mesquite. Volunteer opportunities include: reading programs, special events, leading activities, assisting seniors, and much more...
