Evans Activities:

Silver Stompers Line Dance  

Kick up your heals, have fun and get a great aerobic work out at Line Dance Practice at Evans Senior Center. Volunteer teachers provide instruction and lead you through the latest moves on Thursday afternoon from 12:30-2:00 p.m. This is a free activity that may improve your health and outlook. Members of the group perform locally.

General Information

Evans Senior Center is centrally located in the 75149 zip code area of Mesquite. It is in one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods attached to the only stand-alone recreation center in Mesquite. The senior center was built in 1977 and underwent a complete renovation in 2010.

City of Mesquite senior centers are community facilities serving adults 50 years or better. The centers function as a meeting place where participants can socialize, take part in activities and classes and receive services that enhance the quality of life. Programs are designed especially for mature adults.
