Overview

Mesquite Parks and Recreation aquatic acilities play host to approximately 15,000 participants every summer. The facilities also host several parties, corporate gatherings and even swim meets through the Mesquite Marlins swim team.

Aquatics partnerships can provide corporate branding on at the city’s three swimming facilities, as well as the ability to obtain presentation rights to the water slide features. Partnerships can also include hospitality considerations such as free pool rentals for employee celebrations and parties.

The program can be amended to include additional marketing rights and even expanded to include naming rights for inventory at city special events, athletic facilities and attractions.

How it works

Aquatic and swimming pool signage
Mesquite Parks and Recreation Aquatics partners could receive a 3 ˝ x 9 foot sign along perimeter fences at three swimming facilities in Mesquite – City Lake Aquatic Center, Vanston Aquatic Center and Town East Pool. Or, partners can secure a “double space” with the size of the sign and/or banner jumping to 7 x 9 ˝.

Naming rights/presentation rights to slide features
Qualifying aquatics partners can secure naming rights to one or both of the water slide features at City Lake or Vanston aquatic centers. Slide naming rights will carry over to city publications and marketing materials – extending the exposure beyond the three-month swimming season.

Pavilions and shade shelters
Partners can secure branding and naming rights to the reservable pavilions at the aquatic centers. There are two at City Lake and one at Vanston. There are also six shade structures at Vanston. Partners can receive brand placement on any pair of those structures or all six.

MP&R aquatic partners will be able to have their logo or brand featured on city Web presences and will have the ability to utilize city brands and trademarks for marketing purposes, including social networking. In addition, partners could qualify to have logo representation in city publications including the employee Web digest (all city department e-newsletter), occasional Mainstream inclusion (water bill insert) and Fun Forecasts (biannual directory of MP&R programs and services). Partners also have the ability to distribute special offers through parks office for rentals and pool reservations.

Rights Fees
The following represents an example of how the rights fees for the partnership might work. We can build the partnership to meet any budget or marketing initiatives. And remember, aquatic partnerships can be augmented by adding in partnerships involving facilities, athletics and special events.
