NEW ACTIVE PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS

Mesquite Parks and Recreation has started two active adult groups. Adults will have the opportunity to gain social and health benefits in the M&Mís (Mesquite Motorcycle group) and the Mesquite Milers (running and walking group).

The M&Mís next scheduled event will take place Saturday, August 13th at City Lake Parkís Lakeside Activity Center (101 Holley Park Drive). A short meeting will start at 7 a.m. to discuss the purpose of the group, calendar of activities and introductions. Following the meeting, the fun begins with a group ride to Chubbyís Diner in Emory. The Mesquite Milers meet at Kids Quest Pavilion (1625 Gross Road) on Saturday at 7 a.m. A short meeting will start the day to discuss the purpose of the group, calendar of activities and introductions.
