B.L.A.S.T. Day Camp (Bringing Leadership, Art and Sports Together) allows children to participate in a traditional summer day camp program. Activities include swimming, games, crafts, field trips and other exciting adventures. Campers build self-esteem, develop social skills and improve health and fitness while exploring a different theme each week.

B.L.A.S.T. will be held at Florence, Evans and Rutherford Recreation Centers from 7:30am to 6pm for ages 6-12. Participants must register by the Thursday before each week of camp. Campers have the option of having lunch provided by MISD on non-field trip days.

Fees are $75/week.

WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP EVERYDAY (Please write participants name on each item)

  • Water bottle
  • Snacks for the day
  • Campers must wear closed toe shoes (except to the swimming pool)
  • Sack lunch on field trip days
  • We highly encourage participants NOT to bring carbonated drinks
