MAYOR’S INTERVIEW ON KEOM’S COMMUNITY FOCUS SHOW

Mesquite Mayor John Monaco conducts a radio interview every month on KEOM – 88.5 FM. Mayor Monaco interviews City staff on various issues including public safety, special events, recreation activities, economic development, planning and so much more. It’s a great way for Mesquite residents to stay informed on their city. The interviews are part of KEOM’s "Community Focus" program which is hosted and produced by Mesquite Independent School District high school students.

KEOM is owned and operated by the Mesquite Independent School District, this noncommercial, educational, community service station features mostly 70s with some grooves from the 60s and flashes of the 80s. The station also provides locally produced and syndicated community service and educational programs, TSN news, updates on traffic from Metro Networks, timely weather forecasts, and MISD varsity game broadcasts.
