Summer Reading Club starts June 4th!
Saturday, July 28th is the last day to turn in reading logs.

The Summer Reading Club encourages children through age 12 to read for pleasure during the summer when they are out of school. There will be craft times, game times, and special guest performers at both library locations.

Please check the Calendar of Events for specific dates, times and locations.

The Children’s Librarians can provide library tours or programs for groups, daycares or schools. Contact them at 972-216-6226 (Mesquite Main Library) or 972-681-0465 (Mesquite North Branch Library.)

The online resource TexShare Library of Texas has some databases specifically aimed at children, including EBSCO Kids Search and Searchasaurus. These are available in the library or from your home computer. You will need a log in and password to access this site. Ask the Children’s Librarian for more details.

Both libraries have a computer set up for children 12 years of age and under. Ask the Children’s Librarian for more details.
