Both
libraries have a computer set up for children twelve years
of age and under. Training provided. Call the Main Library
or the North Branch for more details.
Storytime: Storytime
is held year round at both the Mesquite Main Library
and the North Branch. The Spring and Fall sessions of
storytime span a 10 week period. During the summer, storytime
covers an 8 week period. Storytime usually lasts for
30 minutes and consists of stories, filmstrips, fingerplays
and group activities. The age for storytime is generally

children may become acquainted with authors & illustrators
of Children's
Literature.

Learn about the state bird of Texas and her special "Mocking" talent.

Lapsit Storytime: This is a program geared for babies ages
