Both libraries have a computer set up for children twelve years of age and under. Training provided. Call the Main Library or the North Branch for more details.

Storytime: Storytime is held year round at both the Mesquite Main Library and the North Branch. The Spring and Fall sessions of storytime span a 10 week period. During the summer, storytime covers an 8 week period. Storytime usually lasts for 30 minutes and consists of stories, filmstrips, fingerplays and group activities. The age for storytime is generally 3-5 years. For more information please call 972-216-6226 or 972-681-0465. Storytime is also provided so that young children may become acquainted with authors & illustrators of Children's Literature.

Join the club anytime beginning Monday, June 9th, at either the Mesquite Main Library or the Mesquite North branch Library. choose to count the number of books you read or the amount of time you spend reading. Preschoolers can join the Read-to-Me Club and get credit for books read out loud to them. Turn in at least 2 reading logs by Saturday, August 2, to earn a certificate and at least 3 reading logs to get a gold seal on your certificate.

ANIME CLUB AT THE MAIN LIBRARY! 
The Main Library's anime club previews, discusses and recommends anime movies for the Main Library's collection.  The club is open to 12 to 18 year olds and meet on the fourth Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. 

MANGA BOOK CLUB AT THE NORTH BRANCH LIBRARY! 
Middle school and high school students meet at the North Branch Library to discuss the latest manga books.  Call the library at 972.681.0465 for the next meeting date.

Infant Lapsit Storytime: This is a program geared for babies ages 3 months to 12 months.  There will be songs, fingerplays, books and time for parents to interact with each other.

Preschool Storytime: Storytime is recommended for children aged 3 - 5, 
and parents are welcome to stay.

Toddler Storytime: Toddler time is recommended for children aged 18 months - 3 years and is designed as a participatory activity for child and parent.
