The City of Mesquite is seeking an Executive Secretary to work within the Police Department, Administration Division. The Executive Secretary will provide a wide variety of highly responsible and complex clerical and secretarial duties to the Administration Division. This position will also provide professional, effective and efficient public service assistance to the general public; and to provide highly responsible secretarial support to an assigned department director.
- Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
- Requires four (4) years of progressively responsible secretarial and clerical experience.
- Must be able to type 45 wpm.
- Must possess a valid Class C Texas driver's license.
- Must be available to work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
TESTING REQUIRED: The following test must be completed prior to the position closing in order to receive consideration for this position:
Typing (45wpm), Excel, Grammar, Spelling and Word
