The City of Mesquite 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007 MrSID Orthophotos can be viewed by zooming in on the map. Once zoomed in, you may utilize the various buttons on the toolbar on the left to navigate around the map display area. The acronym MrSID stands for Multiresolution Seamless Image Database. Abstract and Subdivision Areas 
Abstracts contain information on unplatted properties (property that has not been developed vacant land). Subdivision Areas contain information on platted or re-platted properties (property that has been developed with some type of improvement parking lot, single family residential, commercial building, etc).

Alley Areas 
Geographical areas used by the City of Mesquite Streets Division known as Alley Areas (1A, 1B, 1C, etc). Paved Alleys are assigned a GRADE (1,2,3 or 4) based on the Alley Condition
Building Inspection Areas 
Geographical areas used by the City of Mesquite Building Inspection Division to provide quality customer service to the citizens of Mesquite and the construction communities by providing a safe, durably built environment through the enforcement of the codes and standards developed by the community.

City of Mesquite's property parcels information can be accessed from this page. You may search for an account by zooming in from a bird's eye view of the city. You may also search a particular property by its "Service Address" or "Owner Name".
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Areas 
Based on 2000 Census Data, geographical areas are designated
by HUD as being 'low to moderate' income. The City of Mesquite
is an entitlement city and receives funds from HUD targeted
for those particular areas. Areas are made up of census tracts
and block groups.
Council Districts 
Geographic areas for the City of Mesquite Council Districts.
EMS Service Areas 
Geographical area used by the City of Mesquite Emergency Medical
Services to dispatch EMS personnel and ambulances.
Environmental Code Inspection Areas 
Geographical area used by the City of Mesquite Environmental
Code Inspection Division which is assigned to staff to monitor
the compliance of city ordinances and codes. The environmental
code inspection districts are larger in total area and consist
of smaller areas. For example environmental code inspection
district (1) consists of areas (1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, 1-5, 1-6,
1-7, 1-8, 1-9, 1-10 and 1-11).
Fire Districts, Boxes & HWY Boxes 
Geographical
area used by the City of Mesquite Fire
Department to dispatch staff and fire
apparatus during emergency conditions.
The fire districts are larger in total
area and consist of smaller fire boxes.
For example fire district (1) consists
of fire boxes (101, 102, 103, 105,
106, 108, 109, 110, 111, 114, 115 and
118). The highway boxes are different
because they are not polygons (contiguous
circles) but are the highways that
fall within the city. Specific segments
of the highway are designated to an
individual fire station. Fire stations
are assigned to those specific highway
segments based on the quickest response
time and direct entrance path not necessarily
the closest geographically.
Keep Mesquite Beautiful 
The
five district geographical area is used
by Keep Mesquite Beautiful, Inc. landscape
committee to judge and award Yards of
the Month and Businesses of the Quarter.
LBJ Corridor 
Geographical
area designated by the City of Mesquite
as being highly dynamic.
North Central Texas 
This map contains geographic boundaries of the 16 counties in the North Central Texas Region. The data is derived from the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG)
Parks and Recreation Facilities 
Maps of all public park facilities within the City of Mesquite.
Features such as school buildings, sports facilities, pavilions,
shelters, picnic tables and recreation centers will be identified
in these maps. Mesquite
Independent School Districts (MISD) parks will also be
identified.
Planning Division Impact Fees Service Areas 
Geographical area used by the City of Mesquite Planning Division
to allocate roadway impact fees for new development.
Police
Beats, Districts, and Reporting
Areas 
Geographical area used by the City of Mesquite Police Department
to assign patrol officers. The police districts are larger
in total area and consist of smaller dispatch and reporting
districts. For example police district (1) consists of dispatch
districts ([11], [12], [13] and [14]) and reporting districts
([111, 112, 113]; [121, 122]; [131, 132] and [141, 142]).
Problem Oriented Policing 
Geographic areas used by the City of Mesquite Police Department
that are assigned as Problem Oriented Policing. Each boundary has database information on the districts, Sergeants and Lieutanants.
Recycling Bin Pilot Areas and Parcels 
The City of Mesquite, Solid Waste Division has designated certain parcels that will be participating in the Recycling Bin Pilot Program.
The pilot program will utilize recycling
bins instead of blue recycling bags. The use of bins allows
the City to expand the list of acceptable materials that can be collected.
The Solid Waste Division will monitor the bin
usage to gauge the impact they make on improving participation in recycling.
Roto-Boom Brush Collection Areas 
Geographical area used by the City of Mesquite Solid Waste
Division to designate large item brush, tree limbs, refrigerators,
furniture pick-up collection schedule. The configuration of
the collection areas has been designed to follow days of the
week. The collection areas are larger in total area and consist
of smaller sub-areas. The collection days are Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. For example collection area
designated as Monday consists of sub-area (A, B and C).
Solid Waste – Garbage and Recycling Collection Days 
Geographical areas used by the City of Mesquite Solid Waste
Division to schedule collection of household garbage and recyclable
items. The City of Mesquite has sectioned off the city into
two specific areas for garbage collection and four specific
areas for recycling collection. To get specific information

Traffic Counts 
Click on the individual red traffic points to obtain that location's
most current 24-hour traffic count volume, that is listed by
location, date, individual lane direction 24- hour count, and
24- hour total count. In addition, the entire citywide traffic
count file may be downloaded for viewing.
2010 West Nile Virus - Vector Control 
Areas that have been treated for mosquitos potentially carrying
the West Nile and St. Louis Encephalitis virus. To get specific
