Adoption of Updated International Fire Code

Ordinance No. 4189

An ordinance of the city of Mesquite, Texas, amending chapter 6 of the code of the city of Mesquite by deleting sections 6-1 through 6-6 in their entirety and adding new sections 6-1 through 6-6 thereby adopting the International Fire Code, 2009 edition, by providing certain amendments and deletions thereto; providing for an effective date; providing for a penalty not to exceed two thousand ($2,000.00) dollars for each offense; providing for a repeal clause; providing for a severability clause; and declaring an effective date.
