The nation's newest SuperTarget, larger than most of its roughly 240 predecessors, is soon to open at 1629 N. Town East Blvd., in the Market East Shopping Center.
It's a long-awaited unveiling for city officials. Mayor John Monaco will present a proclamation and City Council members will be given a tour of the new store at 1 p.m. Tuesday. SuperTarget is part of Mesquite's Project Renewal initiative to attract and retain businesses and will employ 300 people.
