Communications Division |
The Communications Division is responsible for media relations on City-wide issues, developing news releases concerning City activities, representing the City as official spokesperson during emergency operations and other designated media events, preparing speeches/presentations for the Mayor/City Council and other administrative staff, public speaking to community groups, assisting on special events/ceremonies, facilitating website content, strategic communications planning for City departments, production of the monthly citizen newsletter, the coordination of public affairs activities, and other communication projects.
