Parking Violations


Parking Commercial Vehicles

City Code section 9-168 prohibits the parking of tractor-trailers, buses, trucks or any other commercial motor vehicles with a carrying capacity of one and half (1 1/2) tons or more upon property within any area zoned residential.

Parking Within Ten (10) Feet Of A Mailbox

City Code section 9-206 prohibits the parking of any vehicle on a public street from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, within ten (10) feet of a mailbox used for the delivery of United States mail.

Parking Recreational Vehicles (RV)

City Code section 10-13 allows RVs to be parked on front driveways as long as it does not overhang the property line or the sidewalk. RVs parked behind the front or exterior side yard building line must be five (5) feet from any main building. No RV shall be allowed to park in the street for more than 24 hours. Code 29 only.

Parking Trailers On Street

City Code section 9-205 prohibits any person to park, store or leave standing any trailer upon a public street. Trailer shall be defined as every vehicle without motor power designed or used for carrying property, animals or passengers towed by a motor vehicle.

Parking Boat Trailers On Street

City Code section 9-204 prohibits any person to park, store or leave standing a boat trailer upon a public street.
