Fair Housing is the right of every person to have access to adequate housing of that person’s choice. It is unlawful to deny a person of this right because of race, color, sex, religion, handicap, familial status, or national origin.

How To File A Housing Discrimination Complaint

If you feel you have experienced housing discrimination and wish to file a complaint, you may click here to download and fill out a fair housing complaint form. After printing the form, you may:

• Fax the form to Shawna Gaston, Fair Housing Officer, at 972-329-8340
• Email the form to [email protected]
• Deliver the form in person to the Housing and Community Services Building located at 1616 N. Galloway, Mesquite, TX 75149 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
• Mail the form to the City of Mesquite at:
