    Goodbar Bunco players are rolling the dice on the second Tuesday of each month at 9:15 am. This month Bunco will be played on September 8th. Two games are played each time, and all participants are in the mix for a payoff at the end. This is an easy dice game requiring no skills except the ability to have fun! $2.00 per person-sign up begins 9/1.

    AARP Defensive Driving Class for licensed drivers 18 years and up will be held on Thursday, September 24th from 9:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. Cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members. The course may reduce your insurance rate but it does not meet the state requirement to dismiss a ticket. Space is limited. Call or come by the center to make a reservation. Sign up 9/3.

    Fall Wii Bowling League will begin the week of September 28th and go for 8 weeks. Teams may sign up for a time slot on a first come first served basis. Beginning Monday, September 14th at Rutherford. No phone calls please. Each team needs a captain/contact person that coordinates substitutes if needed. There will be time slots offered on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Check with staff for details.

    Step back in time and tour six historic homes in downtown McKinney at Chestnut Square. The bus will leave Goodbar at 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 29th. These tours of the homes are offered for $20 per person which includes a three course luncheon served on linen-covered tablecloths with time-period china and a mini vintage fashion show. The onsite hostess will lead a one hour walking tour through these historic homes and this will wind up in the ‘General Store’. Payment is due in advance and there are no refunds.   37. Adventure Camp - Ropes Course at Camp Rorie-Galloway
