The City of Mesquite annually adopts an operating budget to meet the ongoing needs of its citizens. Preparation of the annual operating budget is a primary function of the City Manager’s Office and, once finalized, it is submitted to the City Council for further review and adoption. The City’s fiscal budget year is October 1st to September 30th.
