• Place "homeless" animals in loving homes through adoptions and  the "Animal Wish List".

• Re-unite owners with lost pets through lost and found reports.

• Protect the public from dangerous or vicious animals.

• Conduct rabies, bite and cruelty investigations.

• Act as the Local Rabies Control Authority

• Respond to livestock and wildlife service requests.

• Dead animal removal.

• Provide vector control through rodent abatement.

• Provide education programs on responsible pet ownership, animal behavior and bite prevention to persons of all ages
