"Agnew Middle School, 8th Grade, National Junior Honor Society Makes Donation to the Mesquite Animal Shelter"

On October 25, Kathy Kirchner and Richard Kozlovsky, sponsors NJHS, organized a garage sale given by Agnew 8th Grade National Junior Honor Society and benefiting the Mesquite Animal Shelter and Adoption Center. On November 21, Andy Wise, Animal Control Supervisor, was presented with a check for the animal shelter in the amount of $450. Presenting the check on behalf of NJHS were Lindsay Hejl, President, Sarah Stregles, Vice President, and Leah Partin, Secretary. Other donations collected by NJHS and delivered to the animal shelter included towels, blankets, and dog & cat food.
