Mesquite Rodeo Parade

The City of Mesquite Parks and Recreation Department and the Mesquite Chamber of Commerce are seeking participants in the annual Rodeo Parade. Horses, bands and floats will wind through downtown Mesquite on April 5 beginning at 10 a.m. The Rodeo Parade is a community wide event bringing together civic clubs, churches, community groups, sports teams and schools. The parade will follow its traditional route starting on Belt Line at Newsom, proceeding through downtown Mesquite and ending on Galloway Ave. at New Market.

At this year’s Rodeo Parade, we will be recognizing Kloie Oguntodu as the Grand Marshall. Kloie won the girls, ages 6-7, National Championship at the NFL Punt, Pass and Kick Competition that was held on Sunday, January 12 of this year. Oguntodu is a 2nd grader at Shaw Elementary.
