Class Registration Form

Recreation After School Program (R.A.S.P.)  

R.A.S.P. is a program that has been designed to provide a fun, safe and structured environment for children after school. The program will include supervised snacks, arts/crafts, physical activities and homework time. The program will operate Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. throughout the school year. There will be an additional $15 a day for all-day care during holidays and teacher-in-service days. Registration is limited.

A-1 Class:

Specialist Instructors

The Florence Recreation Center is looking for energetic and innovative Instructors to teach youth and adults classes/programs. If you have a unique talent, skill or idea please submit your application here. Instructors will be paid a percentage of the tuition.

A variety of recreational classes and special activities are offered at the recreation centers for all ages. Instructors are qualified, skilled individuals who have a passion for the classes they teach. Some classes offer a first time drop in fee so you can try a class out to see if it is the right class for you. Please check with the recreation center to see what classes are currently offered. Please register in advance for classes because classes are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.

For your convenience, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, check or cash are offered as acceptable forms of payment. If a class is filled, individuals will be put on a waiting list and called if space becomes available. Refunds are issued if we cancel a class. All other reasons for needing a refund will be issued as a class credit for you to use for future classes, leagues, memberships or reservations.

Areas are available for free play in the lobby and gymnasiums. Equipment may be checked out with a current membership card. Lockers are also available free of charge as bags are not allowed in the Gymnasiums or Fitness Rooms. Participants under 12 years of age must be actively supervised by a parent/guardian 18 or older.


Membership Information:

Mesquite Residents Participation Membership: $10/year
Non-Residents Participation Membership: $25/year
Fitness Membership: $25/year
Day Pass for Gymnasium (Non-Residents only): $3/visit
No day passes are available for the Fitness Room.
You must have a current valid picture Identification Card or Drivers License and proof of residency to purchase a membership or day pass. Anyone under 18 years of age must have a parent/guardian with them to purchase a membership or day pass
