Mesquite residents may also watch our government channel if they subscribe to these cable services:
Time Warner Cable: Digital Channel 16*
AT&T U-verse: Channel 99
*While channel 16 is the City of Mesquite's designated government access channel on Time Warner Cable (TWC), TWC is no longer broadcasting content in both analog and digital signals. Effective October 2010 channel 16 content resumed broadcasting in digital format only. In June 2011 TWC migrated the remaining government access channels across North Texas (channels 95, 96, 97, 98 & 99) to broadcast digital only and no longer in an analog format. If a Mesquite resident is a TWC customer has an old analog TV and not a newer version of a flat panel TV, they will need to have a digital box to be able to view channel 16. The new flat panel TV's have what is known as a QAM tuner and depending on the format, the QAM tuner will display the video content on channel 16 as channel 15.1 or 15.2 on the TV. For a digital box, please call TWC Customer Service Center for the North Texas and Dallas Area at 972-742-5892.
