Providing service to the citizens of Mesquite is a rewarding career field. You will know every day that you have made a significant contribution to the people in our community. Our standards are high but we will select those who share our commitment of service excellence. The employment process is designed to identify and evaluate applicants on the basis of these essential competencies. Once hired employees are again evaluated on the same competencies. Future training and considerations for merit increases and promotions are based on performance in these essential competencies.
