Some driveways that appear to be in good condition must be removed and reconstructed to meet the American Disability Act (ADA) Standards for Accessible Design. The commercial driveways will, if practical, be constructed one half at a time so to allow full access to the facility during construction.

Two lanes of traffic in each direction must remain open except during the period when existing concrete is being removed and loaded into trucks or when new concrete is being poured. The contractor is not permitted to perform construction in more than one lane at a time in either direction. In some cases, the concrete pavement repair will be with High Early Strength Concrete to permit the area to be open to traffic at the end of a 24 hours period.
